Skilful morning anybody, it is now possible to catechumen an existing Discover credit carte du jour into a unlike Discover credit card online (hat tip to Don at Doctor of Credit ).  I currently have a Discover It Credit Card and a Discover Information technology Miles Credit Card .  My Discover It Miles Credit Carte du jour is over a twelvemonth old, then I already got my double points subsequently the beginning year.  At present the credit carte du jour only earns 1.5x on all purchases, so I don't use that credit carte anymore.  I would much rather have another Discover It Credit Card and accept admission to rotating 5% cash back categories.  To catechumen your existing Discover credit carte online, click here and sign into your Discover online account.

And then y'all need to select which Find credit card you lot want to convert.  Since I want to catechumen my Discover It Miles Credit Card, I select that credit carte du jour and click the Go on button.

For some reason, the Discover website kept selecting my Discover It Credit Card, instead of my Discover Information technology Miles Credit Card.  I tried several times, but it kept happening.

I'm not sure if this will work for anybody, but I decided to freeze my Detect It Credit Carte du jour (temporarily locking information technology from being used).  That allowed me to get to the correct page to convert my Notice It Miles Credit Card.  Later the process was completed, I unfroze my Discover It Credit Carte du jour.

As you tin see, the Discover website is now showing my Discover Information technology Miles Credit Carte du jour.  I now accept the option to convert to either the Discover Information technology Credit Card or the Discover It Chrome Credit Menu.  I decided I wanted another Detect It Credit Card, so I clicked the Become Started push button underneath the Observe It Credit Card.

I confirmed all the details were correct and clicked the Go along button.

I then clicked the Submit push button to agree to the new terms & weather condition.

My new credit carte will make it after my current credit card billing statement ends.

I also received an e-mail from Discover with details of the conversion.
