Start your review of Bart Simpson Big Shot

This was an unusual volume. For one thing, it featured some of the biggest names to work on a regular Simpsons comic in Sergio Aragones and Gilbert Hernandez. But really, the volume overall was weaker than most Simpsons graphic novels. I think I have gotten used to the comic just trying to be as close to the TV series as possible (the art looks just like the show, the storylines are similar, etc.) so when creators take things in a slightly different way it throws things off. The Hernandez story This was an unusual volume. For one thing, it featured some of the biggest names to work on a regular Simpsons comic in Sergio Aragones and Gilbert Hernandez. I think I have gotten used to the comic just trying to be as close to the TV series as possible (the art looks just like the show, the storylines are similar, etc.) so when creators take things in a slightly different way it throws things off. The Hernandez story really confused me, which is something that I don't think ever happened in a Simpsons comic. Aragones is probably my all time favorite humor comic guy (Mad Magazine!) and his work here is good, but for some reason the overall volume didn't grab me. Still, I would give four stars and if you're a fan of the Simpsons comic line you should still enjoy it, but it just wasn't quite as good as usual. ...more

I read the book Bart Simpson BIG SHOT! This is a good book because it has some good action parts, scary parts and, and a lot of funny parts. The best part I liked in Bart Simpson BIG SHOT! book was when Bart Simpson and his friend were picking up parts to make a rocket for the moon. They were building it with parts that they got from the garbage place and they got the motor from Bart's dad's car. Then they didn't know how to get all the parts together to build a rocket so they called a builder r I read the book Bart Simpson BIG SHOT! This is a good book because it has some good action parts, scary parts and, and a lot of funny parts. This is the least funny collection of Simpsons comics I have ever read. There's a lot of Sergio Aragones work, which I normally adore, but it just wasn't funny. You should especially watch out for the "Lil' Krusty" sections, which are especially bad. I gave this three stars cause I can't resist reading about the adventures of the Simpsons, even if it lacked humor. This is the least funny collection of Simpsons comics I have ever read. Another decent collection of Simpsons comics. Standouts include some seriously meta-fictive work by Sergio Aragones, and the series of Li'l Krusty one page gag strips. Have you ever watched The Simpsons? This book is about Bart Simpson,is the baddest boy of springfield. If you are looking for a book that has a lot of drama and many problems, this could be the one. Your favorite characters or as others say main characters are here, including Maggie, Lisa Simpson, Milhouse, and neighborhood bully Nelson Muntz. Bart gets into a lot of trouble, which is the main point of the book. i really enjoyed this book and recommend it to all of those who want to be entertain Have you ever watched The Simpsons? Read this is two sittings...It's not a hard read by any means and that is sometimes what I need :p

It's a collection of Bart Simpson comics compiled into a graphic novel. Within it you'll find pretty short comics and the One Offs (one page comic).

The artwork will always differ between story to story..Some people can draw better than others...I'm thinking they're now including stories from other countries and not just from the US.

I loved this book. I would recommend this book to anyone that enjoys watching the Simpsons. It was very entertaining and I loved reading every second of it.
